A critical piece of equipment on octane engine consoles is the hour meter. It tracks the life of the engine and allows operators to perform timely maintenance procedures and judge the overall life expectancy of the engine equipment. Modern alternatives are required to provide longevity for the engine console as a whole.

• Two 6-digit hour meters
• Monitor total engine hours with top counter and subset of hours with bottom counter
• Bottom hour meter is reset with the push of a button
• Top hour meter can be reset, but requires additional steps so accidental reset is difficult
